Professional Experience
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Alanna Coopersmith is an Ivy-League educated attorney living in the San Francisco Bay Area and practicing criminal defense. She developed her skills as a seasoned courtroom advocate working as a deputy public defender.
She began her legal career clerking for a United States District Court judge, Hon. Stewart Dalzell. She was an associate in the litigation department of the firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, representing individuals and companies in a wide range of commercial cases. She was a deputy public defender at the Solano Public Defender’s Office. In addition, she has provided volunteer work as an attorney at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office.
Alanna Coopersmith enthusiastically practices criminal defense and DUI defense. She represents people against a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor charges, from brawls at a sporting event, to white-collar crime, to murder.
